The Institute of China Cooperative Economy (hereinafter referred to as the "Institute") is a directly affiliated entity research institute established by Anhui Agricultural University in 2023. Co-founded by Anhui Agricultural University and the China Association of Cooperative Economy, the Institute currently focuses on research directions such as farmers' professional cooperatives, supply and marketing cooperatives, theoretical innovation and practice of new rural collective economy, and common prosperity.The university fully supports the Institute's scientific research endeavors by providing fixed research and office spaces, and giving priority to project incubation, operating funds, recruitment of research team members, and graduate student quotas.

The research team has presided over more than 20 national and ministerial-level projects, including the National Social Science Fund, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Humanities and Social Sciences Fund of the Ministry of Education, and the Anhui Provincial Natural Science Foundation. They have published over 60 papers on rural revitalization and cooperative economy in journals such as Management World, China Rural Economy, The Journal of Quantitative & Technical Economics, and Social Indicators Research. Many of these papers have been fully reproduced or excerpted for their viewpoints by Renmin University of China Copy Materials and Xinhua Abstracts, and some have been selected as ESI Highly Cited Papers and Hot Papers.The Institute will continue to strengthen high-quality scientific research, improve its research level, and strive to become an important research base in the fields of cooperative economy, collective economy, and common prosperity in China.
