News Network Report — On November 29, 2025, the 1st Forum on Constructing China’s Independent Knowledge System and Disciplinary Development of Agricultural and Forestry Economics and Management (2025) was successfully held at the Zijingang Campus of Zhejiang University. Professor Hu Lian participated in this forum.Hosted by the Rural Development Discipline Construction Committee of the Chinese Association of Rural Development, the Discipline Professional Committee of the Chinese Association of Agricultural Technology Economics, and the China Academy for Rural Development (CARD) of Zhejiang University, the forum was undertaken by the research team of the Ministry of Education’s Major Special Project Research on Constructing China’s Independent Knowledge System of Agricultural and Forestry Economics and Management and the Digital and Intelligent Agriculture, Rural Areas and Farmers Laboratory of the School of Public Affairs, Zhejiang University. More than 120 experts and scholars in the field of agricultural and forestry economics gathered here to conduct heated and in-depth exchanges.
