Paper Publication | IFAMR Publishes Research Findings by Professor Zhong Xiaoping of Our Academy on the Application of Machine Learning Methods

Recently, a collaborative paper titled Who buys food products from online influencers? predictions with machine learning by Professor Zhong Xiaoping of our academy and Professor Yu Xiaohua from the Department of Rural Development and Agricultural Economics at the University of Göttingen, Germany, was published in the 2nd issue of International Food and Agribusiness Management Review (IFAMR) in 2025, an SSCI-indexed journal. The study employs a variety of machine learning methods to predict consumers’ behavior of purchasing agricultural products recommended by online influencers, identifies key predictive factors, and provides reference suggestions for advancing the development of rural e-commerce.
